So far so good. Baxter has been having a tonne of fun playing the games, and that’s the most important thing, right?
He’s so proud of himself when he catches his kibble it’s actually the cutest thing.
The only thing that’s like… I mean, okay, it’s good to have enthusiasm about your business and to really lean in, but the videos can be a bit cringe.
To be fair, I’ve never been a roll in at 100% type. I don’t even clap along at concerts*. Maybe that makes it harder for me to grasp the level that these people are on. Also, I’m not sure it’s a good thing for my dog to find me… well, sexy.
Feels a bit off, you know.
All up, I can forgive moments of pure absurdity because even so early into the game Baxter has been excellent on his walks. Also, I doubt it correlates but he’s slept in his own bed every night of the challenge and that makes us all winners.
*It’s all well and good to start clapping, but it culminates in this awkward moment of panic where you’re not sure how or when to stop. And don’t even get me started on how not everyone in the world has a good enough sense of rhythm to get what’s going on.
